Negar Jadidi

Negar Jadidi is from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She is a rising junior at the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) majoring in political science with a pre-law concentration. She
is the founder and current chairwoman of the Young Americans for Freedom chapter at UNCG.

Negar has led her chapter in initiatives such as the 9/11: Never Forget Project and YAF’s Pro-Life Timeline. She has also attended several YAF conferences. During her tenure, her chapter has increased membership and made a tremendous impact on campus and the surrounding communities.

Originally from Iran, Negar has seen and experienced the atrocities of an authoritarian regime. This experience has tremendously encouraged her activism. Negar hopes to attend law school after college to become a defense attorney.
