In early April, Kelley Billy joined YAF’s team as the assistant to the president at Young America’s Foundation.
Kelley works directly with YAF’s president, Governor Scott Walker, to coordinate public engagements, events, and media requests on his behalf. Kelley also manages logistics for Governor Walker as he champions Young America’s Foundation’s mission across the nation, meeting with students, supporters, and conservative leaders.
Prior to joining Young America’s Foundation, Kelley worked in the Office of Congressman David Rouzer (NC-07). She served as the Congressman’s executive assistant for six years, helping to support and preserve the conservative values of North Carolina’s 7th District.
Originally from Orlando, Florida, Kelley is a graduate of Florida State University.
Kelley first got involved in public policy in 2012, when she worked for the North Carolina GOP, helping secure conservative victories throughout the state. Kelley then served in the North Carolina Governor’s administration as assistant to the Health and Human Services Secretary Ambassador Aldona Wos.
Kelley currently lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband, Stephen, and their two rescue labs—Monty and Ace. Kelley and Stephen are active members of the parish at the Basilica of St. Mary in Old Town Alexandria
