In her role as Assistant to the President, Kelleigh works alongside Governor Walker on scheduling and administrative tasks. She also assists in providing effective communication to staff, boards, students, speakers, and supporters, as well as external partners.

Previously, Kelleigh was the Director of Foundation Relations, cultivating relationships with key foundations through proposals, reports, and stewardship projects.

She first became interested in policy and writing through her AP government course in high school. This prompted her to study English and political science at Grove City College and pursue an internship in her local congressman’s office.

Kelleigh learned of Young America’s Foundation’s National Journalism Center internship and participated in the program during the summer of 2016, learning the D.C. media landscape and advancing her writing skills at a religion news television show.

After her graduation in 2017, Kelleigh joined the Foundation’s team as the program officer for the National Journalism Center, working to recruit talented student journalists and place them in selective internships in media.

A few years later, she pursued an opportunity with Regnery Publishing in public relations, working to publicize noteworthy conservative titles.

She rejoined the YAF team at the end of 2020 to work with some of the most dedicated supporters in the Conservative Movement and is grateful for the opportunity to work directly with Governor Walker.

Kelleigh is originally from the Pittsburgh area and lives in Reston, Virginia, with her husband, Jacob. They are expecting a baby in 2024.
