Jacob Porwisz

Jacob Porwisz hails from the Chicago suburb of Lake Zurich, Illinois. He attended the College of Lake County (CLC), where he chaired the Young Americans for Freedom chapter for the 2020-2021 academic year. He intends to transfer to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he plans to start a YAF chapter.

Jacob became interested in the Conservative Movement at a very young age. As the son of two immigrants from communist Poland, his passion for the ideals of freedom is unbroken. He followed this passion into college and got involved in the YAF chapter at CLC. During his tenure as chairman, the chapter flourished, even when virtually all campus activities were shut down due to COVID. The chapter participated in various activism initiatives, including the 9/11: Never Forget Project, Freedom Week, No More Che Day, and the Pro-Life Timeline.

Jacob hopes to go to law school and become a prosecutor. He is most passionate about American foreign policy, preserving free enterprise, and fighting leftist hegemony on college campuses.
