YAF is excited to welcome journalist Becket Adams to our National Journalism Center (NJC) team at the Foundation’s national headquarters.

Adams got his start in journalism more than a decade ago. As a member of NJC’s 2010 fall program, Adams served as a research assistant to the Washington Examiner’s David Freddoso, aiding in producing and completing the bestselling book Gangster Government. Adams also served as a staff correspondent for Catholic News Service.

In 2011, Adams was hired by TheBlaze to manage its business vertical. He soon became the site’s business editor. In 2014, he left TheBlaze to join the Washington Examiner, where he served as a media reporter, a campaign reporter, and, lastly, a senior commentary writer.

In 2017, he secured a cable news contract to appear as a regular contributor on the S.E. Cupp Unfiltered show, where he served as a lead panelist in more than 39 episodes.

Adams has also made regular appearances on Fox News and CNN. His byline has appeared in RealClearPolitics, Mediaite, and Business Insider.

His work is cited regularly by major news outlets, including Fox News, the New York Post, and the Wall Street Journal. He is the author of a weekly column for the Washington Examiner magazine, titled “Media Malpractice,” in which he dissects the press’s latest failures and scandals.

Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, Adams earned a B.A. in history in 2004 from Christendom College. He earned his master’s degree in business analytics from The Catholic University of America in 2011.
