Andrew Davenport is a 2021 graduate of Regent University, where he majored in political communication and served as the chairman of Regent’s Young Americans for Freedom chapter.
During his time as chairman, he led activism projects—including the 9/11: Never Forget Project and Freedom Week—and hosted activism trainings. He also brought new students to YAF’s conferences.
Andrew is also an alumnus of YAF’s 2020 National Journalism Center (NJC) class. During his time with NJC, he was placed at the Media Research Center, where he worked as a Capitol Hill reporter, interviewing numerous senators and representatives. Andrew enjoyed NJC’s training from numerous journalism experts at notable outlets, including the Daily Caller, Washington Examiner, and Fox News.
In the fall of 2021, Andrew will be pursuing a Master of Public Policy degree at Pepperdine University’s School of Policy. He is interested in a career in public policy advocacy and is passionate about issues relating to religious liberty and higher education.
