Alejandrina Piper

Alejandrina (Ale) Piper joined YAF’s team in mid-October as assistant to the director at the Reagan Ranch Center. Ale’s mother immigrated from Colombia, and her paternal grandmother immigrated from Puerto Rico. She was raised with a great appreciation for the opportunities America has afforded her family, who shared with her the importance of hard work.

Born and raised in South Florida, Ale has a deep understanding of the false promises of socialism from her Cuban stepmother, whose family fled communism and moved to Miami in the 1960s.

Ale earned her B.S. in business management from Florida State University and her M.S. in higher education administration from Nova Southeastern University. Before joining YAF, Ale worked in higher education for nine years, leading student programs in Experiential Education and Peer Leadership. She has a passion for guiding students through their academic journeys and facilitating professional and personal development opportunities.

After years of being surrounded by liberal ideology and the push for socialism in higher education, Ale was ready for a new opportunity. She was motivated and inspired by YAF’s social media content and mission to share and defend conservative ideas on high school and college campuses across the nation.

Eager to get involved, Ale decided to step away from higher education and join Young America’s Foundation’s team at the Reagan Ranch Center. Ale is excited to continue working with students and contribute to their educations through YAF’s programming.

Ale lives with her husband, Chris, and their two fur babies in Santa Barbara, California.
