Alec Sackett, Development Officer

Alec Sackett serves as a development officer at the Reagan Ranch Center in Santa Barbara. Like countless young people since 1998, when Young America’s Foundation saved the Reagan Ranch, Alec participated in Reagan Ranch programs and visited Rancho del Cielo as a student at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. He is excited to share with supporters and students alike the impact of learning about the timeless conservative ideas of President Reagan.

While at Liberty, Alec was an active member of the YAF chapter and served in various leadership positions. He helped with projects including Freedom Week and the 9/11: Never Forget Project. Most significantly, Alec worked with the YAF chapter to organize lectures featuring Dinesh D’Souza and Star Parker, bringing strong conservative leaders to a campus of more than 13,000 students.

Growing up, Alec started his involvement in the Conservative Movement when he volunteered for various public policy officials in middle and high school. Through involvement with YAF training seminars and conferences, and an internship with a fundraising and advocacy firm, Alec has continually prepared himself to make an impact in the Conservative Movement. Alec is glad to have found a position with Young America’s Foundation and he’s honored to work with the supporters that help in the fight to advance conservative values.
