Kimberly Martin Begg, Esq. has been active in the Conservative Movement since she attended her first Young America’s Foundation conference as a student at Rutgers University.  She served on the Foundation’s staff for nearly 15 years, operating as Vice President, General Counsel, and Director of Planned Giving. For nearly 15 years, Kimberly oversaw YAF’s legal department to ensure continued operation in all areas and the protection of students’ free speech rights. She raised major gifts and built the organization’s planned giving program, from 2004 to 2018, spearheading several innovations and generating significant revenue to help inspire young people across the country with conservative ideas. She is honored to serve on YAF’s Board of Directors.

Kimberly is an expert in planned giving and protecting donor intent. She advises individuals on how to avoid common estate planning mistakes and how best to pass on their legacies and values to future generations.

Kimberly is General Counsel and Director of Programs of the Ortner Family Foundation. The mission of the Ortner Family Foundation is to serve the Catholic Church, the classical/liberal education movement, and other endeavors that lead to human flourishing. The Foundation considers the intersection of two or all three of these areas to be ideal. It specializes in supporting new and entrepreneurial initiatives. The Foundation currently supports the Cana Academy, St. Jerome Institute, Magdalen College, Thomas Aquinas College, Institute for Catholic Liberal Education, Religious Freedom Institute, Catholic Education Partners, Thomistic Institute, and A Simple House.

Kimberly serves on the Washington, DC Board of Regents for Thomas Aquinas College and the Advisory Board of the Clare Boothe Luce Center for Conservative Women, an organization that prepares and promotes conservative women for effective leadership.

Kimberly has served as Head of School of Good Shepherd School in Purcellville, Virginia, Loudoun County’s only Montessori and classical school, rooted in the Catholic Tradition and serving children preschool through 8th grade.
