Dan Flynn

Daniel J. Flynn is the author of Blue Collar Intellectuals: When the Enlightened and the Everyman Elevated America; A Conservative History of the American Left; Intellectual Morons: How Ideology Makes Smart People Fall for Stupid Ideas; and Why the Left Hates America. 

Flynn writes a column for HumanEvents.com and regularly contributes to FrontPageMag.com. His articles have appeared in The Boston Globe, The American Enterprise, The Washington Times, and National Review Online, among other publications. He has been interviewed on Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, and Court TV, and appeared as a guest on several hundred radio talk shows.

A frequent campus speaker, Flynn has faced-off with book-burners, mobs shouting down his talks, and fanatical officials banning his lectures. Dan is also a popular guest on radio and television, he has appeared on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, Showtime, CSPAN, Court TV, and other broadcast networks.

From 1994-1997, he served as a program officer for Young America’s Foundation, and from 1997-2003 as executive director of Accuracy in Academia.

In 2004, Dan launched his own website, www.flynnfiles.com, which features his writings on politics, movies, music, sports, and a variety of interesting topics not addressed in his books.
