Young America’s Foundation supports Senator Lindsey Graham’s resolution condemning congressional leftists’ tactics in their latest attempt to remove President Trump from office. The Constitution of the United States must be applied equally to all citizens, whether conservative students on college campuses or the President of the United States. Leftists have continually shown they are willing to trample the rights of Americans with whom they disagree, and their attempts to undo the will of the American people—while hiding their dirty work from view of their constituents and conservatives in Congress behind closed doors—is shameful. Leftist congressional leadership is ignoring established precedent and abandoning their duty to the Constitution with this rogue attempt to take down President Trump. They must allow a vote on whether or not to open a formal impeachment inquiry, provide President Trump the due process rights granted to every American, and stop denying conservative lawmakers the right to equally participate in the proceedings. ###
