Young America’s Foundation is pleased to announce Karalee Geis has joined our team as Capitol Hill Outreach Director. She first became familiar with YAF during her summer in the Young Leaders Program at The Heritage Foundation and was inspired to start a Young Americans for Freedom Chapter on campus at Samford University. The effort received national attention after some members of the faculty senate deemed the group “inflammatory” to communists. The organization was finally approved the day before her graduation. Prior to joining YAF’s team, Karalee served on staff for Congressman Bruce Westerman in his Capitol Hill office. Karalee is enthusiastic about encouraging students who intern on Capitol Hill and in Washington, D.C. to further their involvement with YAF and inspire their peers with conservative ideas.
