Peter Schweizer, a notable Young America’s Foundation alumnus and board member, recently published a new book, Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win. In his latest work, he exposes the secret dealings that people like Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi have with communist China.
Similar to a number of his other books, Red-Handed, has found itself at the top of The New York Times’ bestsellers list. His previous works, Clinton Cash, Extortion, and Throw Them All Out were The New York Times bestsellers as well.
Schweizer is the President of the Government Accountability Institute, a best-selling author, and a member of Young America’s Foundation’s Board of Directors. He is also a partner in the Washington, D.C. firm, Oval Office Writers, which provides speechwriting and communications services for corporate executives and political figures.
Schweizer often comes back and speaks at YAF events and even provides signed copies of his books to students.
He has written several other books exploring history and corruption in the United States.
“Peter Schweizer presents his most alarming findings to date by revealing the secret deals wealthy Americans have cut to help China build its military, technological, and economic might. Equally as astonishing, many of these elites quietly believe the Chinese dictatorial regime is superior to American democracy,” says Harper Collins Publishers of his latest work.
Schweizer began his journey with YAF as a high school student when he attended YAF’s 1982 National Conservative Student Conference. He said the conference was “my first exposure to conservative books,” recalling that they were given “a stack of books by Milton Friedman… Bill Buckley etc.”
YAF is proud to see alumni like Schweizer continue to contribute to the Conservative Movement and the country as a whole. Schweizer’s investigations are one-of-a-kind and very few others are willing to attempt them. He is a wonderful role model for current YAF students trying to make a difference.
