The University of Tennessee’s 2018 “Sex Week” promises to top their previous sex week events with a syllabus of programs that could make the most sexually-liberated blush. Sessions on “Black Liberation through Sexual Pleasure” and “Reproductive (In)Justice” are just the tip of this leftist sexcapade that also promises a drag show, cabaret, and “Sex Week Carnival.” More than half of the week’s sessions are being funded in part by UT’s “Student Programming Allocation Committee,” meaning fees collected from students are paying for sessions on “Sucking D & Licking P,” whether students want to support this kind of “education” or not.

Taking place April 6-12, the released schedule for UT’s Sex Week 2018 also includes the following sessions:

“Art Gallery – Send Nudes ;)”

“Science of Abortion”

“Toys R Sex”

“Butt Stuff 2.0: The Pegging”

“#MeToo”

“Your Penis and You”

“(S)exploration Destination: France”

“Queer History in Cinema”

“Tinder and Tea”

“History of Erotic Art”

“Gender Smackdown”

“CSI: My Period”

“Feminist Geek Icons”

“Masturbation Nation”

The students organizing Sex Week are not alone in their endeavors. Listed faculty supporters include Mary McAlpin (associate department head, French), Dr. Monica Black (associate department head, history), Dr. Spencer Olmstead (associate professor, child and family studies), Dr. Tricia Hepner (associate professor, anthropology), Dr. Tina Shepardson (professor, religious studies), Joan Heminway (professor, law), Dr. Jeffrey Kovac (professor, chemistry), and others.

Young America’s Foundation is also making a public records request through its Censorship Exposed! project to learn more about how much funding is being allocated from student activities fees to support Sex Week.
