A University of Florida student is trying to compile a list of students, faculty, and staff who do not subscribe to the Left’s transgender ideology, according to a proposal posted on social media.
Specifically, the student is interested in creating a list of “trans-exclusionary radical feminists”, or “TERFs,” and “anyone who calls themselves a radical feminist, a lesbian feminist, a political lesbian, etc…”
Clearly, it is entirely ignoble and fascistic to create lists of ideological dissidents simply for their refusal to conform to the woke regime. In fact, it harkens back to the tactics of totalitarian states. The documentation of dissenting voices is the first step in the destruction of those same voices and others who might follow.
The student claims that “This is not a witch hunt. It’s only intended to be used to protect trans lives.”
“A logo on a laptop sticker can be violent, but making a list of people to interrogate about their worldviews based on hearsay is just for safety right? This plan of action is authoritarian and woman-hating b***s***,” someone wrote in reply to the proposal.
