A Catholic college in Indiana announced a slew of woke events including “God is Proud of You: LGBTQ+ Catholicism” and “Menstrual Justice,” according to a tip received through Young America’s Foundation’s Campus Bias Tipline.

On September 20, Saint Mary’s College Campus Ministry posted on social media to advertise their upcoming fall events: “Looks like God put a perfect little rainbow on our campus, and maybe it could serve as a reminder of our ‘God is PROUD of you: LGBTQ+ Catholicism’ event tomorrow at 7 PM in Stapleton Lounge in Le Mans!”

The Campus Ministry stated that Fr. Dan Horan and Professor Stacey Davis will discuss what the Catholic Church “really has to say about the LGBTQ+ community.”

According to the post, the school held an events titled “Is Sex Good?” and “God is Proud of You: LGBTQ+ Catholicism” earlier in the semester.

A concerned alumna took to twitter to expose her alma mater. “The latest out of ‘Campus Ministry’ at my Catholic alma mater. ‘Menstrual Justice’ and ‘LGBTQ+ Catholicism,’” she wrote.

Saint Mary’s College Campus Ministry is an extension of the college’s Division for Mission, as opposed to a student organization. “Campus Ministry fosters the call to community through word, sacrament, service and action for justice. Deepen your faith by responding to the demands of the gospel. Join us in making God known, loved, and served,” reads the ministry’s website.

Clare Anne Ath, a 2018 graduate of Saint Mary’s College, told YAF “I’m ashamed of my alma mater. Wokeness has hijacked this once proud Catholic women’s college to the point where it is indistinguishable from any other secular school.”

“I feel horrible for the faithful Catholic families who are paying obscene amounts of money to have their children indoctrinated with this type of cultural Marxism,” she said.

Both Saint Mary’s College and the Campus Ministry declined or didn’t reply to requests for comment.

It isn’t only public schools that are subject to the disease of wokeness. As is evident in this case, the radical left-wing agenda has even seeped into religious institutions and schools, hijacking the Church’s teaching. Parents, alumni, and students must stand up to the cultural Marxism deteriorating their university.
