Young America’s Foundation is excited to announce a new lecture series that will bring America’s founding principles to students across the nation on college and high school campuses.
President Reagan ’s notable quote reminds us that, ”Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” And it was this quote that inspired Maureen and Keith Work to sponsor this lecture series to ensure students are introduced to conservative principles during their formative years.
YAF’s own polling shows that students seemingly have a favorable view of socialism, yet when asked they cannot accurately define it. Furthermore, more than 53% of students believe the country is headed in the wrong direction despite the strong economic climate in the United States which is reflective of the false narratives being pushed by pop culture, the education system and the national news media.
The Preserving American Liberty and Freedom Lecture Series will seek to educate young Americans in a nationwide effort to counter the disturbing trend among younger generations that embrace socialism over free markets and individual freedom.
Additionally, the nation must maintain a strong defense and continually monitor the actions and efforts of possible foreign nations and organizations intended to weaken and/or defeat the security, liberty, and freedom of the United States.
Young America’s Foundation President Ron Robinson praised the work and dedication of Maureen and Keith Work:
“Maureen and Keith Work have dedicated their lives to protecting freedom in our country. We are honored to work with them to bring conservative principles to thousands of young people on college and high school campuses across America. It is because of them that more students will come to have a balanced education.”
Young America’s Foundation is honored to partner with these distinguished speakers to fulfill the Works’ vision and legacy to bring conservative voices to the next generation of Americans.
