Kevin O’Connor is a rising junior at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, pursuing a business administration degree with a concentration in management and a minor in entrepreneurship. He has made the Dean’s List ever since his arrival at university. Kevin founded his university’s Young American’s for Freedom chapter, helping to reduce some of his school’s wasteful student organization spending and helping to break the campus conservative apathy with forums on the free market and gender quotas. His YAF chapter also hosted “Change My Mind” events and other activities. Kevin and his chapter recently coordinated with the Student Veterans organization on campus to increase firearms education. In conjunction with running a YAF chapter, Kevin is on a path to commission as an officer with the US Marine Corps, participates in various entrepreneurial expos and competitions, and hosts a campus radio show. He also writes a biweekly column in the campus newspaper presenting the conservative point of view. Kevin looks forward to helping instill conservative values in high-school and college students across the nation.
