Leftists at Southern Methodist University have given in to their censorious side yet again, tearing down posters advertising next Monday’s YAF lecture featuring Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America. After the SMU Young Americans for Freedom chapter posted the flyers, they noticed all their advertisements were missing within a matter of hours. It’s a classic move from the campus leftist playbook as they seek to limit the ability of their peers to hear conservative ideas on campus. As the before and after photos below show, the posters advertising SMU YAF’s lecture with Hawkins are the only ones taken down.

As always, Young America’s Foundation and SMU YAF encourage all students to listen to what Hawkins has to say, and take full advantage of the opportunity to engage in the free and open exchange of ideas during the open Q&A following Hawkins’ remarks. Unfortunately, too many leftists prefer to target and censor YAF activists rather than take the time to listen to diverse viewpoints.
