Young America’s Foundation is proud to host author Dan Flynn at a book event on Saturday, October 12, 2013.  Flynn will be speaking on his
new book, The War on Football: Saving America’s Game at 3:15 p.m. in the Governor’s Room of the Omni Shoreham.

No other sport epitomizes the fierce, hard-working, competitive
American spirit better than football.  And at a time when the
values of hard work, competition, and tradition are lambasted by
the elites in the media and academia, even the football field isn’t
sacred.  In his new book, Dan Flynn discusses how football,
like other cherished American institutions, is being brought down
by those ruthlessly pursuing lawsuit settlements and grant
money.  He’ll offer his assessment on how football has
actually never been safer and how we’ve never needed its values of
manhood and American exceptionalism more than we do now.

This book event is open to those attending the 2013
Values Voters Summit, of which Young America’s Foundation is a sponsor only of its educational portions. Those who attend the breakout session
will be entered to win a free copy of the book.

As a graduate of Young America’s Foundation programs, Flynn
understands the importance of increasing the number of young people
who understand and are inspired by free enterprise, traditional
values, and individual freedom.  His other books include:
Blue Collar Intellectuals: When the Enlightened and the
Everyman Elevated America, A Conservative History of the American
Left, Intellectual Morons: How Ideology Makes Smart People Fall for
Stupid Ideas,
and Why the Left Hates America.
