Todd Abbott is a rising junior at Messiah College in rural Pennsylvania, where he studies international business, politics, marketing, Spanish, and economics. He serves as vice president for the school’s ambassador program, occupies a seat on the student senate, controls the college’s verified social media accounts, and is currently a candidate for student body president.
While this is his first position with Young America’s Foundation, Todd is enthralled to join such an active and successful organization in their pursuit of spreading conservative ideals across college campuses, having repeatedly seen the need in his own school.
Todd is a native of upstate New York and a first-time visitor to the west coast. Over the past few years he has spent time in Washington, D.C. working with Major League Baseball, a summer in Spain studying abroad, and a semester in Orlando working for the Walt Disney Company.
In his spare time, Todd is a passionate baseball player and fan, as well as a musical theatre performer and enthusiast. He is a volunteer leader of his local church youth group, and always enjoys talking about college basketball or all things Syracuse. Todd is also an Eagle Scout and a lifeguard.
He is extremely excited to be in Santa Barbara and looks forward to the number of opportunities and intellectual challenges that joining YAF will present.
