  • Virginia Tech Professor Doesn't Want to Support Our Troops

VT PROFSteven Salaita, an associate professor at Virginia Tech, published a column in, " No, thanks: Stop saying 'support the troops.'" The professor is widely known for his anti-Israel, pro-Jihadist views and has authored a number of books supporting Arab beliefs. Sanlaita claims American patriotism to be nothing but a cover for "American imperialism."

"Next time you are asked to "support our troops," then, remember that in a country where wealth decides the fate of so many communities, such an uncritical gesture isn't even worth the change from a broken dollar."

Thankfully for Salaita, there is an American military to protect his rights to publish this column in the first place.

By writing this article, Professor Salaita's intended to completely discredit the American military and the freedom our country represents. Salaita believes he is more intelligent than most Americans and that he has all the answers to our problems. In actuality, the column proved that people like Professor Salaita are the problem. He has completely discredited himself as a professor, but most of all, as an American citizen.

If Professor Salaita truly believes America is such an evil country, I suggest he leave.

    • Maybe he should figure out where he is living before he shoots his liberal Jihadist mouth off. This is part of what is wrong with this once great nation of ours. People are being welcomed here by our politicians who don't love this country or what it stands for, they only want to tear it down with their hateful beliefs and get a free handout from the people who work and pay taxes. If you feel that way then pack up your family and go over to where they welcome people with views like yours. A Professor, my ass. You should be tared and feathered and rode on a rail right out of this country for your BS views and beliefs. America, love it or get the fuck out...

    • ironically, this is the most anti-American article, ever. Trying to silence a citizen's opinion of their government isn't's totalitarian. Maybe the author should move to North Korea, I hear they love to ban anti-government and ant-military discussion there too!
