Ellen Withey, Welcome Desk Officer

Ellen Withey serves as the Reagan Ranch Center’s welcome desk officer—the first point of contact for many of the Foundation’s friends, students, and supporters.

As a native of California and lifelong resident of Santa Barbara, Ellen has been involved in public service as a volunteer at the Buellton Chamber of Commerce in California, Cattlewomen’s Association, California Rural Crime Prevention Task Force, Maritime Museum, Carriage Museum, Santa Barbara Yacht Club, German-American Club of Santa Barbara, and the Navy League.

Her most rewarding experience was the 16 years she spent with Old Spanish Days. She served in many positions in the organization culminating with being the second woman in the history of the Old Spanish Days organization selected to serve as La Presidente. She continues to act as an adviser to the organization when requested and each year serves as an announcer at the beginning of the Old Spanish Days Fiesta parade route.

Ellen came to Young America’s Foundation with a strong belief in a conservative America and the desire to share her conservative values with the next generation.
