  • YAFers Celebrate President Reagan's Birthday

2/10/2014 11:48:58 AM Posted by Patrick Coyle

February 6 marked what would have been President Ronald Reagan's 103rd birthday. To mark the occasion, several Young Americans for Freedom chapters celebrated his birthday by giving away various items including posters, calendars, and jellybeans. Some of the participating chapters include the University of Virginia, The George Washington University, Hillsdale College, and Trinity Classical Academy just to name a few.

    YAF Reagan Birthday
Of course, Ronald Reagan was involved with YAF throughout his life. He first joined YAF's advisory board in 1962 and eventually became the honorary national chairman. President Reagan welcomed students attending the National Conservative Student Conference to the White House all eight years of his presidency, and he addressed that same conference in 1993. It was because of this long friendship that Young America's Foundation was entrusted to save and protect his beloved ranch, Ranch del Cielo in 1998. Now YAFers and other conservative young people across the country have the opportunity to visit President Reagan's ranch near Santa Barbara, California.

If you don't have a YAF chapter at your high school or college campus, you can start one easily. Click here to learn more and to sign up. Our team will be in touch with you shortly to make sure you are up and running quickly so you can begin promoting conservatism!
