The National Journalism Center: Summer 2008

Three times a year, The National Journalism Center holds 12-week sessions devoted to training responsible journalists. Students gain real-world experience at media outlets around the Washington, D.C. area, hear from prominent journalists and public policy experts each week, and are exposed to some of the nation's most rich cultural landmarks and museums right here in the capital city.

Below are photos taken throughout this session - some are from the three-day intensive training orientation, while others are from the weekly training seminars. These will be updated routinely throughout the summer, as will the links for stories NJC interns have published throughout the summer!

A group of NJC interns visits Arlington National Cemetery during orientation.

Interns talk with "Talk of the Nation" host Neal Conan after listening to the show live from the Newseum.
