Recruiting New MembersThis fall has seen the quickest growth in Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chapters forming across the country. Just within the last week, new clubs have launched at:

  • College of the Desert
  • Bellarmine College Preparatory School
  • University of Maryland – College Park
  • Belmont University
  • Palm Beach Atlantic University
  • University of Wisconsin – Platteville

We are working hard to provide all YAF chapters with the best chapter services and resources available in the Conservative Movement such as free table banners for each chapter.

Additionally, last month YAF chapter chairs from across the country attended a training session at the Foundation’s F.M. Kirby Freedom Center. The activists traveled from Marquette University (Wisconsin), Florida Atlantic University, the University of Washington, and William and Jefferson College (Pennsylvania), among other campuses to grow their chapters and promote conservatism on campus.

Attendees heard from Foundation Vice Presidents Patrick Coyle, Richard Kimble, and Kate Obenshain on how to host a big name speaker, raise funds from school and private sources, and communicate conservatism on campuses and in the media. Popular Foundation speaker Bay Buchanan also addressed the group on the importance of conservative leadership.

If you are interested in starting a YAF chapter at your school, please contact Patrick Coyle.
