As you head back to school in the coming weeks, now is the
perfect time to start planning out your recruitment strategies for
the fall semester.
The beginning of the school year is the best time for recruiting
new members to join Young Americans for Freedom. Freshman and
transfer students are looking for ways to make new friends, and
students aren’t yet bogged down with lengthy papers and exams to
prepare for, giving them more time to get involved. But when a
student approaches your YAF table, the inevitable first question
will be: What is Young Americans for Freedom? What the student is
wondering is: Who is Young Americans for Freedom, and
am I one of them?
The below “I am YAF” video and poster series concept answers
this question. Simple, bold statements of what you believe as a
Young American for Freedom, backed up by why you believe it, will
engage your fellow students. It will get them excited to be a part
of the movement you’re a part of.
You can use the “I am YAF” video and download the posters to use
at your school for effective recruitment. Be proud to walk around
campus stating, “I am YAF…… are YOU?”
