A new Young Americans for Freedom chapter just launched at the University of Maryland – Baltimore County. Chapter chair Kristin Shields writes:
After a long and tedious process of back and forth for campus approval between “us” and “them,” UMBC’s chapter of YAF is finally official and ready for business. In fact, we have been active on campus already. Hopefully UMBC students had a chance to catch us at Involvement Fest. We had our own table complete with copies of the Constitution, the Declaration, The New Guard (YAF’s official magazine), and of course the American flag. Lots of students stopped by and signed up for more information.
[At] our first meeting…We had so many people join us that we were at capacity, and almost had to resort to standing room only! Needless to say, it was a great hit and very well-attended.
