Addie Schmitz joins the Foundation team as a Sarah T. Hermann intern scholar at the Reagan Ranch Center. Addie is a senior studying Justice Systems and Political Science at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. After graduation, she plans on pursuing her Masters in Public Administration. Very early in life, she discovered her strong conservative values and interest in policy. It wasn’t until college when she felt her calling to be an active voice for the cause. She has been involved with her campus conservative group since 2015 where she previously held the position of Vice Chairwoman at Truman State and currently is the Executive Director for her chapter as well as sits on the State Board as the Outreach and Coalitions Director. In addition to her campus activism, she also serves as the Secretary for Lambda Alpha Epsilon/Alpha Phi Sigma and is a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma. Addie was introduced to Young America’s Foundation when she attended the National Conservative Student Conference last summer.
