Conservative activist Samuel Settle and the Penn State Young Americans for Freedom rallied on Friday with more than 100 students and community members to protest Penn State's internal review of Climategate professor Michael Mann.
Concerned students and community members took issue with the fact that Penn State selected Mann's peers to conduct the review. Indeed, the initial review from Mann's colleagues concluded that there was no substantial evidence to continue an investigation. The panel investigating Mann were asked to review whether his research "seriously deviated" from accepted scientific practices.
