    Young America's Foundation Sarah T. Hermann Intern Scholar Hillary Cherry wrote a blog titled, "Left Blames 2nd Amendment for CO Shooting, but Aurora Already Had Gun Ban." Saturday, CNS News reposted the blog with permission from The Quad and was linked to by the Drudge Report.

You go looking for people online to pick fights with and since you can't understand what they're talking about, you resort to profanity and name calling even though you're too scared to ever be angry to anyone in real life cause they might yell at you and hurt your feelings?     • I find it hilarious (and, thank you, Hilary, for pointing out this stupidity) that, in Aurora, CO, while it is legal to carry a weapon in public, it is ILLEGAL to actually use it in public, or to even have it loaded. If I understand this conundrum correctly, if someone had been in the theater with a loaded weapon, and had shot the criminal near the beginning of his rampage, that citizen would, most likely, have been arrested and jailed for stopping the criminal shooter, thus saving many lives and a great many serious injuries. Typical liberal stupidity. Hopefully, we will get rid of a lot of them (idiot liberals) in November.

    • bill i agree... jack your the reason america is in the mess that it in..if just a few of these poor folks were armed maybe someone would have taken this killer out...and JACK THE POINT IS THAT THIS WAS IN A GUN BANNED AREA.. SO DISARMING THE PEOPLE DIDNT HELP ONE BIT...THE CRIMINALS STILL GET THERE GUNS.. STAND FOR OUR 2ND AMENDMENT..ITS OUR RIGHT..LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT..AND JACK MABY YOU SHOULD GO LIVE IN IRAN....

    • he would be "all things to all ppolee" in furtherance of the gospel. If Christians offend others, it should be because we must make the key points necessary to spread the gospel, not because we choose to say things in the most hostile way we can think of when we disagree with others. The labels used by these students on their website select the most hostile, emotionally charged words possible when referring to positions with which they disagree. Incendiary language may fire up those who agree, but it is not going to convince anyone who disagrees. I think it is a very self-serving thing to do. Christians needs to say things as nicely as possible. They need to do so with an attitude of humility toward those who disagree, knowing that our knowledge on this earth is incomplete (1 Cor. 13: 12,13) and on some things we may find out later that we are mistaken or had only partial understanding.

Could this actually be he long-awaited, long-hoped for fracturing of the Evangelical-Conservative alliance that has so damaged America! Could evangelicals actually be developing "religious values"?
