    The National Journalism Center's Hannah Jackman appeared on Fox News' Stossel to debate the value of unpaid internships. Watch her debate New York Times reporter Steven Greenhouse here: 

    Jackman defends students' right to gain experience through unpaid internships. No one forces young people into "intern-ment." Student can quit at any time, but many choose not to because they gain the job skills they need to succeed in this tough employment market. Government doesn't pay their interns, and they shouldn't force the private sector too either.

    • , there are many I do agree with and I look forward to the day when their voice is heard more weildy.In my opinion the real extremists are the ones who, without any mandate or real debate have allowed massive levels of uncontrolled immigration to radically transform this country. To make matters worse they have actively suprpressed, harassed and deried anybody who dared to question the wisdom of all this. Immigration has changed my home city for the worse and it is now becoming unrecognisable as an English city. Remember also that only one political party has taken the time and effort to adequately research Islam and to then warn against the obvious dangers to British society. If for no other reason that's why I suspect I will most likely vote BNP at the next available opportunity.

    • I don't disagree with the unrledying point, but technically, if you're going to add in student debt and national debt, you should adjust for inflation. Otherwise the "index" will be heavily biased toward more recent times because of decades of inflation.
