Just outside beautiful Santa Barbara, Calif., up a windy mountain road, and past a couple of old Secret Service stations, sophomore Harris Wells pulled up to a modest, adobe ranch house. Just looking at it, you’d never suspect it belonged to President Ronald Reagan.

During his presidency, the ranch was Reagan’s refuge from the White House. Wells had the opportunity to explore it on Feb. 18.

Young America’s Foundation sponsored the tour as part of its conservative training seminar in Santa Barbara.

“They showed us where the Gorbachevs hung out when they visited the Reagan ranch,” Wells said. “We even saw the exact spot where Reagan signed the largest tax cut in the nation’s history.”

    • I put it to all the logical thikrens like Peace:what do we stand to loose if we divide to various independent states? Are we not already divided based on ethnic & religious loyalty(ies)?Who is fooling who in Nigeria? Is it not only the northeners that are born to rule? Are they not the same people undermining the peace of Nigeria now that somebody from South-south,a minority group, for the first time is leading as a president?Coming to the issue of corruption, its root is in the school system. To fight the monster called corruption, start it from the education system, especially the institutions of higher learning.Revolution by division is the solution to the Nigeria conundrum. One Nigeria is a euphemism of tribalism, ethnicity and massacre of precious lives in the guise of northern hegemony.
