    Tony Blankley ImageYoung America's Foundation speaker and friend, Tony Blankley, passed away Saturday evening after a long fight with cancer.

    Tony was a conservative author and commentator who served as press secretary to Newt Gingrich during the 1990s and he spent six years in the Reagan administration as a speechwriter and senior policy analyst. Mr. Blankley spoke at a number of Young America's Foundation events including our Thomas Phillips Student Luncheon at CPAC and at our National Conservative Student Conference.  

    The board and staff of Young America's Foundation extend our heartfelt sympathies to the Blankley family.

Is this the Sununu who rcnmmoeeded Judge David Souter to Bush 1 for the Supreme's?If so, does anyone ever ask him how the heck he was:1) able to confidently recommend someone so awful, and 2) able to get the President to approve it.If this is that Sununu, then he comes across to me as the equivalent of Bill Buckner letting that ball go thru his legs in the Series, and I need him to forthrightly address that colossal, Series changing Error, and he then ought to become the poster child for advising us on how other people could make such similar stupid recommendations. If it's his kid, then I apologize for damning the Son with the sins of the Father.
