Not surprisingly, in a new Gallup poll held before President's
Day 2011, Americans once again voted President Ronald Reagan as the nation's
"great president."
President Reagan also held this title in a 2001 and 2005
Gallup survey. In fact, over the last 12 years, Reagan has consistently
been rated as one of top three presidents.
I doubt Obama will ever be revered in the minds of Americans
as a great president. Just this week we have witnessed:
a) two Iranian war ships enter the Suez Canal;
b) Somalian pirates kill four innocent Americans, and;
c) more than 1,000 protesters dead in Libya.
What has Obama done about the unrest in Egypt and the
slaughtering of innocent Americans? Absolutely nothing.
Reagan believed in peace through strength. Obama believes in
peace through weakness.
