Tonight’s speech President Obama is giving at
University Wisconsin-Madison will mark the 47th time he has given a
speech on a college or high school campus since he was sworn in as President. At this rate, he
is speaking to students once every 12 days.
This new research
should reveal that the Left is constantly attempting to indoctrinate students
on college and high school campuses across the country. While the economic growth is
nonexistent and youth unemployment is at record highs, President Obama finds
college administrators and faculty are eager to do his bidding.
Young America’s
Foundation’s research found that the most common subject of these speeches is
the economy and jobs. More specifically, the president has used college
and high school campuses to tout his failed stimulus program and try to convince audiences that
adding more debt to their names was worthwhile.
The second most common
topic covered by the President was Obamacare. The President is not only trying
to convince young people that they should be happy they are going to be
burdened with more debt, but they should also embrace a government takeover of
healthcare.
President Obama’s most
recent speech, which will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will be streamed
live at 200 separate locations. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is
reimbursing the school with $10,500 for hosting the speech. (It cost
the Madison Police Department about $117,000 to staff his appearance at
UW-Madison last November.)
This report, in conjunction
with the recent study that found that the majority of campaign funding from
faculty is going to the Left, should put to rest the false notion that campuses
do not have a liberal bias. The Left sees college campuses as the spring board
for their liberal agenda, and President Obama has been in a perpetual campaign
mode since taking the oath of office.
