Several new speakers have been added to the line-up for Young America's Foundation summer conferences!
Dr. Walter Williams, renowned economist and professor at George Mason University, will speak at the Northeast Conservative High School Conference on 
July 8 at Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. Williams is a well-known lecturer and
social critic respected for his logical discussions of current issues.
Formerly a national fellow at the Hoover Institution and a professor at
Temple University, he is currently an adjunct scholar at the Heritage
Foundation and the CATO Institute. Dr. Williams is a graduate of
California State University and UCLA.
Dr. Williams is the author of several books including The State Against Blacks and Liberty Versus the Tyranny of Socialism. He is also a nationally syndicated columnist with writings in American Spectator, Newsweek, Reason, National Review, and many other publications. He
has been featured on numerous radio and television programs, including
Crossfire, Face the Nation, Larry King Live, Milton Friedman's Free to
Choose, The Rush Limbaugh Radio Show, and William F. Buckley's Firing
Line.
Jonah Goldberg of National Review will also speak during the Northeast Conservative High School Conference on July 9. 
Goldberg is one of the most prominent young conservative journalists on the scene today and America’s most widely-read political columnist under the age of 40. Goldberg is a contributing editor to National Review and was the founding editor of National Review Online. He is a weekly columnist for the Los Angeles Times and his syndicated column appears regularly in the Chicago Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer, San Francisco Chronicle, Kansas City Star, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Washington Examiner, Miami Herald, Manchester Union-Leader and scores of other newspapers. He was nominated in 2008 for a Pulitzer Prize.
His first book, Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left from Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning
(Random House/Doubleday) was a #1 New York Times and Amazon bestseller
and was one of the bestselling – and most controversial – public policy
book of 2008.
Steve Moore of the Wall Street Journal editorial page will speak at a dinner banquet during the National High School Leadership Conference on June 24. Moore has been a frequent contributor to the Journal over the
years, and is previously known as the founder and former president of
the Club for Growth, which raises money for candidates
who
favor free-market economic policies. He left that position in 2004.
Just prior to coming to the Journal, Stephen was president of a new
organization, the Free Enterprise Fund.
Over the years Stephen has served as a senior economist on the
Congressional Joint Economic Committee, as a budget expert for the
Heritage Foundation and as a senior economics fellow at the Cato
Institute, where he published dozens of studies on federal and state
tax and budget policy. He was a consultant to the National Economic
Commission in l987, and research director for President Reagan's
Commission on Privatization. Moore is the author of five books. He graduated
from the University of Illinois and holds a masters degree in economics
from George Mason University.
Other new speakers include AEI Books editor Sam Thernstrom on the books panel at the National Conservative Student Conference, and Human Events editor Jason Mattera at the National High School Leadership Conference.
