Intern on CSPANDo you want to intern this summer and have real responsibility?

Does getting paid for your work mean something to you?

Would you like your internship to lead to a job after graduation?

If so, you should become a Young America's Foundation intern at our headquarters just outside of Washington, D.C or at the Reagan Ranch Center in Santa Barbara, CA.

While many internships consist of sorting mail and making copies, you will be on the front lines of the Conservative Movement at Young America's Foundation.

    Headquarters

Capitol Hill Intern ProgramOur Sarah T. Hermann Intern Scholars at our headquarters are responsible for planning and execution of our National High School Leadership Conference, National Conservative Student Conference, and other programs. You will organize your own event on Capitol Hill. You will participate in the programming, plan the speaker selection, help with registration, compile conference materials, suggest designs for the popular conference t-shirt, introduce speakers (some air LIVE on C-SPAN), and have a great time doing it all.

You will enjoy projects that suit your talents. If you like to write, we'll have you write an article for our signature publication, Libertas or on our blog. If you like editing videos, you will have opportunities to film our conferences, interview students, edit the footage, and publish your video. If you enjoy research, perhaps you can find information for Foundation articles and press releases. The opportunities are endless!

    Reagan Ranch

Reagan Ranch TourOur Reagan Ranch summer interns are responsible for planning events, hosting speakers, preparing materials, recording and attending sessions and overseeing students during the summer.

You will also work at the Reagan Ranch and see first hand what it takes to preserve and maintain a Presidential property. You will help our Ranch Curator archive historical items while conducting valuable research on exhibits and ranch preservation. You will also help our team lead tours as well as host events at the Reagan Ranch.
