Students can apply now to attend the West Coast Leadership Conference, to be held November 13-14, 2009 in Santa Barbara, California. Please visit this page for the details, application, and FAQ.
This year we are making some exciting changes to the premiere west
coast conservative conference because of overwhelming demand for our
programs. Some of these changes include holding all sessions at the
beautiful Reagan Ranch Center, the opportunity for all attendees to
visit President Reagan’s beloved Rancho del Cielo, and more
opportunities to network with top student activists from across the
country.
There will be a new and improved application process. Applications
will be taken on a competitive basis until October 9, at which time
registration will be closed. Our staff will evaluate all applications
and get back to you by October 16 about admission decisions. Don't hate
yourself for missing this breakthrough event! Admission decisions will
be based on your record of involvement on campus, your activity to
advance conservative ideas, or your potential to do so in the future.
To apply, please fill out the online application
and submit a short essay and resume. The topic of the essay is “Why
should Young America's Foundation select you based on what have you
done or what you plan to do to advance conservative ideas on campus?”
Please do not write more than one page. Please focus your resume on
your campus activities but also list your educational information, job
information, and any hobbies or other information you want to include.
