  • YAF Chapters Gear Up For Fall Semester

ActivismBlogPostYoung Americans for Freedom (YAF) chapters across the country have begun an exciting Fall 2014 semester.

With various activism initiatives planned for the semester--such as the 9/11: Never Forget Project, No More Che Day, and FreedomWeek--YAF chapters have begun to hold their first meetings of the school year, recruiting students to the Conservative Movement and energizing their campuses on behalf of the cause of freedom.

University of Tennessee, Knoxville YAF had a great turnout yesterday at their first meeting, where they discussed ideas for projects and events for the 2014-2015 school year. The chapter has already been selected as one of the hosts of the Firing Up Freedom tour.

Hillsdale College YAF had a strong presence at the campus club fair earlier in the week, where they showcased their new Ronald Reagan T-shirts.

College of the Ozarks YAF held their first meeting yesterday, where they discussed plans for the fall semester, which includes organizing with their school's administration a lecture by Dr. Charles Krauthammer.

Texas Christian University YAF drew students to their table on campus by displaying large Ronald Reagan cowboy posters.

University of Arizona YAF, another chapter that has been selected to host the Firing Up Freedom tour, has begun to table as well to draw new recruits.

YAF chapters around the country are poised to passionately promote conservative principles this academic year. With political correctness and a stifling atmosphere pervading campuses across the country, the work that these students and many of our other activists are doing is essential.
