  • A Week In Pictures: NCSC 2014

8/1/2014 10:33:24 AM Posted by Ashley Pratte

This week over 400 students from 41 states joined together in the nation's capital to hear from a star-studded line up of speakers in the Conservative movement and in the process created lifelong friendships.

Throughout the week students have heard from conservative media superstars like Katie Pavlich and Alex Marlow, as well as policymakers such as Congressman Dana Rohrabacher and Senator Tim Scott.

Dylan Oncken, a student activist at Miami University of Ohio, said "This being my first YAF event, I have found it quite refreshing to be around so many other young people who aren't ashamed to love freedom, God, guns, and the American dream."

Another attendee from Arizona State University, Rachael Clark, reflected on her time at NCSC and said, "The speakers inspired activism and encouraged me to no longer be complacent in my conservative ideals."

Justin Langley from the University of Tennessee said, "The conference is a great way for young conservatives to come together, learn about conservative thought and also make friends in the process!"

Today's schedule includes another list of rockstar speakers such as Steve Moore, Lila Rose, Kate Obenshain and many more!  The closing banquet tonight will feature Senator Jim DeMint, with over 400 attendees expected to attend.
