Sean Ford is Young America's Foundation's Sarah T. Hermann
Intern at the Reagan Ranch Center. He spent his childhood fishing,
sailing, and exploring the rural countryside of Sussex County, New
At age 17, Sean was awarded first place and "Grand Visionary" in
the Montclair Film Festival for a documentary short. He was trained
as an actor and director at the New York Film Academy.
During his morning commute through the financial district in
lower Manhattan, Sean stumbled upon the Occupy Wall Street
movement. His encounters with these protestors solidified his
confidence in free market principles and inspired him to advance
these conservative principles through the medium of film.
Filmmaking subsequently became a true passion and, like so many
dreamers before him, he ventured west. Sean is currently studying
political science and cinematic arts at Biola University.
Sean first became acquainted with Young America's Foundation
when he attended the Great Beginnings Seminar in Santa Barbara,
California. Sean is excited to join Young America's Foundation's
team at in Santa Barbara, where he will gain the tools to bring
Reagan's ideas back to his campus and help combat the liberal
agenda foisted on modern America.
