Kate EdwardsKate Edwards, Program Officer of Chapter Services

Kate Edwards serves as program officer of chapter services for Young Americans for Freedom at Young America’s Foundation’s national headquarters.

Originally from Swindon, England, she moved with her family to America when she was young for her father’s career. Through her father’s dedication, she witnessed, firsthand, how hard work and patience leads to success in this country.

Kate is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee where she chaired the conservative club, which was the only one of its kind on campus. She also founded and chaired Panthers for Life, the first Pro-Life organization at UWM. Her conservative activism led to a summer internship in Washington, D.C., where she worked for Students for Life of America, Susan B. Anthony List, and Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.

Kate was first introduced to Young America’s Foundation when she attended CPAC her freshman year of college.

Working with Young America’s Foundation, she planned events, including the 9/11: Never Forget Project, Freedom Week, and No More Che Day, and hosted Ben Stein, Ann Coulter, and Karl Rove to audiences exceeding 900 each.

Kate was awarded the 2011 conservative activist of the year for the state of Wisconsin.
