Event Overview

“The pressure my generation will face may be greater than any before it. I welcome the challenges that lie ahead if I can continually receive training from Young America’s Foundation.” ~ A. Raby, Lee’s Summit, Missouri

Young America’s Foundation invites full-time college students, including incoming college freshmen, to attend our next Road to Freedom seminar scheduled for July 21 and 22 at the Foundation’s headquarters located outside of Washington, D.C.

Many young people are often duped into embracing socialism because they never learn about the morality of markets. A Young America’s Foundation nationwide poll revealed that most young people do not want more government involvement in their lives. Yet what explains the media’s obsession with showcasing how students want more socialism including free education and other government handouts?

Students who attend this program will be introduced to works of intellectual leaders such as—Friedrich Hayek, Milton Friedman, Ludwig Von Mises, among others—who influenced President Reagan and the largest peacetime expansion of the economy in American history.

At this program you will:

  • Discover the free market leaders who influenced Ronald Reagan and his ideas
  • Compare the policies of President Reagan to other American presidents including the policies of Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Jimmy Carter.
  • Brainstorm methods to promote these ideas on your campus
  • Hear from economists, authors, and Conservative Movement leaders on the merits of our free enterprise system
  • Network with fellow free-market allies from campuses across the country
  • And more!

The Cost: The program fee is only $45 and includes hotel and meals during the program. Limited travel waivers are available to those traveling significant distances.
