LIVE STREAM: Standing Up for Faith & Freedom:

How To Advance Conservative Ideas

at Catholic Schools

Click here for the streaming agenda.

If you are a college or high school student at a Catholic school, Young America’s Foundation’s one-of-a-kind Standing Up for Faith & Freedom seminar is for you.

Like many students at Catholic schools, you may be surprised by opposition to your conservative values on campus.  You may be disheartened by the Left’s hijacking of the term “social justice.”  You may be eager to expose how the Left’s radical agenda violates Catholic teaching—but you may not know how.

Attending Young America’s Foundation’s Standing Up for Faith & Freedom seminar may be transformative for you.  You will learn more conservative ideas in two days than in four years of college or high school!

You will hear from many of the Conservative Movement’s most articulate and exciting speakers, addressing topics of particular interest on your campus, including:

  • Rev. Robert Sirico, president of the Acton Institute, Defending the Free Market: The Moral Case for a Free Economy
  • Dr. Paul Kengor, Grove City College professor, John Paul II, Ronald Reagan, and the Extraordinary Untold Story of the 20th Century
  • Kathryn Jean Lopez, YAF alumnus, senior fellow of National Review Institute, & editor-at-large of National Review, How Listening to Pope Francis Could Make For Better Public Policy
  • Congressman Alex Mooney, YAF alumnus representing the 2nd district of West Virginia, Your Catholic Values Under Attack by Your Government
  • Cathy Ruse, senior fellow for legal studies of Family Research Council, Life, Marriage & Transgenderism: How to Win Hearts & Minds Against Hot-Button Attacks on Human Dignity
  • Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, Advancing the Right to Life on Your Campus
  • Austin Ruse, president of Center for Family & Human Rights (C-FAM), No Finer Time to be a Faithful Catholic
  • Leila Miller, Catholic blogger and author, Staying Conservative on a Catholic Campus
  • Nick Hahn, YAF alumnus & Chief Opinion Editor of The HillWhy It’s Up to Students to Save Catholic Colleges
  • Patrick Coyle, vice president of Young America’s Foundation, The Secrets to Change Your Campus

You will also hear from Ron Robinson, president of Young America’s Foundation, who has helped educate and inspire young conservatives for more than 40 years.

Young America’s Foundation created Standing Up for Faith & Freedom to advance opportunities for young conservatives that had previously been overlooked by existing efforts.  Student leaders are most effective when they address issues that match up with the concerns of students on their campuses.  Decades of teaching young people how to identify and respond to issues specific to their campuses demonstrate that students at Catholic schools need specialized training.

Standing Up for Faith & Freedom teaches students of all faiths attending Catholic schools that Catholic teaching is consistent with the conservative principles of human dignity and human freedom.

THE COST: The fee to attend is only $20.00. This includes two nights lodging and four meals.
