President Reagan & President Obama: A Look at the Philosophies and Policies of Two Very Different Presidents - A Forum for Interns

In commemoration of the 8th anniversary of President Reagan’s passing, Young America’s Foundation is proud to present a special forum for interns: “President Reagan & President Obama: A Look at the Philosophies and Policies of Two Very Different Presidents.”

This presentation will feature distinguished Reagan Administration officials, including Frank Donatelli, Ambassador G. Philip Hughes, and Congressman Fred Upton.

Frank Donatelli is the chairman of GOPAC, chairman of the Reagan Ranch Board of Governors, and a director on the Young America’s Foundation Board of Directors.  He served in the Reagan Administration as the assistant to President Reagan for political and intergovernmental affairs and as deputy assistant to the President for public liaison

Ambassador G. Philip Hughes is a senior associate at the Center for Stragetic and International Studies.  He served on the National Security Council Staff under President Reagan, as the Director for Latin American Affairs and Executive Secretary.

Congressman Fred Upton is the United States Representative for Michigan’s 6th Congressional District and is chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Both he and his father served under President Reagan in the Office of Management and Budget

This event is free to interns on Capitol Hill, and no RSVP is required.  All attendees will receive a free commemorative poster of President Reagan.
