About the author

Katie Pavlich is the news editor for Townhall.com and a contributing editor to Townhall Magazine. As a reporter, she has been one of the leading investigative journalists breaking news on Fast and Furious. She is a frequent commentator on Fox News, Fox Business, and MSNBC, as well as on a host of national and local radio shows. A graduate of the University of Arizona, Pavlich lives in the Washington, D.C. area.

As an attendee of the Foundation’s West Coast Leadership Conference in 2008 and 2009, Pavlich learned from national leaders like the late Andrew Breitbart and Dr. Victor Davis Hanson about the importance of seeking the truth in journalism and public policy. She put those skills to good use.

"Young America's Foundation inspired me to fight harder, work harder, pursue the truth, and stand up for what I believe in," Pavlich said in an email to the Foundation

Fast and Furious exposes one of the greatest—and most ignored—public policy scandals in decades, but Pavlich didn’t let the scope of this scandal intimidate her. Being only 23, some tried to tell her she was too young to write a book. Thankfully, Pavlich understood that young people should never sit down and shut up when they see corruption

Praise for Fast and Furious

Pavlich supplies readers with damning documents, new scoops, interviews with whistleblowers, and a must-have guide to the biggest stain on the Obama administration. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Pavlich’s book is a solar flare over 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

If you read one book this campaign season (and I’m talking to you, too, candidates), make it this one.

Of all the Obama administration scandals, Fast and Furious is the one the mainstream media would most like us to ignore because it’s the most dangerous for Obama and his cronies. Katie Pavlich draws back the curtain on a radical administration that put Mexican and American lives at risk for no discernible reason other than to advance an ideological agenda. Katie is a terrific reporter and whistleblower. This is an eye-opening book.
