Bio: Sheena Tahilramani received her M.S. in Journalism from The Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University in May 2007 [new media concentration]. She spent fall 2007 as an intern in the White House Office of Political Affairs, where she drafted briefing papers for top-level officials. Now she is chief of staff at Karl Rove & Company and serves as Rove’s media liaison. In addition to organizing the firm’s staff and managing logistics for his public appearances, she is responsible for managing the company’s online presence, including Mr. Rove’s official Web site. Some of her most memorable experiences come from her time in Washington but, she says, “driving a support vehicle in a presidential motorcade is definitely No. 1 on the list.”
Previously, Sheena worked at the Los Angeles Times' Orange County bureau as an editorial assistant and her articles have appeared in the Queens Chronicle, the Los Angeles Times, the State Hornet campus newspaper and at the Science Museum of Minnesota. Prior to Columbia University, Sheena attended the University of California, Irvine and graduated in June 2005 with her B.A. in Literary Journalism.
