Tracy Lee Simmons was most recently the director of the Herbert H. Dow II chair in journalism and lecturer in Journalism at Hillsdale College. Before then he was a lecturer and instructor at George Mason University and literary reviewer for Crisis magazine. He is currently an associate editor and contributor for the National Review and a contributing writer for The Weekly Standard. He is also the author of Climbing Parnassus: A New Apologia for Greek and Latin. Simmons received an M.A. in language and literature from the University of Oxford in 1986.
