Reagan and His Ranch International Centennial Art Competition Unveiling & Art Show
Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 2 pm
Come honor the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ronald Reagan with the unveiling of the winning artwork from the “Reagan and his Ranch International Centennial Art Competition” sponsored by the Next Picture Show Gallery of Dixon, Illinois and the Illinois Reagan Centennial Commission. Reagan Ranch Curator Marilyn Fisher will unveil the winning entry and speak on Reagan’s Ranch collection of Western American artwork by Robert Rishell, Kenneth Wyatt, Joe Milazzo and other artists.
In addition to original artwork from the Reagan Ranch, special art exhibitions will be on display in the Reagan Ranch Center Exhibit Gallery including works by featured Reagan 100 contemporary American artist Steve Penley, plus select paintings from the California Plein Air Paint-Out held recently at Rancho del Cielo.
The Reagan Ranch Center Exhibit Gallery will be open with special hours, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00--4:30pm.
